Rugged Cross Woodworking & Engraving was started by David Moody. After retiring from a 30 year accounting career due to physical handicaps, Dave decided to turn to his long time hobby of woodworking into a ministry of sharing God's word.

Rugged Cross was formed so that the gospel would be sent out into the world. With the ever increasing pressures of removing scripture from public display, Dave felt the need to focus his products in displaying the comforting and powerful messages that are contained in God's Word. His passion for distributing God's Word stands on the promise of Isaiah 55:11 (NKJ):

"So shall My Word be that goes forth from my mouth; it
shall not return void, but it shall accomplish that which I please."

These desires lead to the purchase of the laser engraving equipment. Dave is able to engrave on wood, tile, marble, granite, glass, leather and many other products. From this ability to engrave on most surfaces Dave can create the most unique artistic plaques, wood products, and specialty gift items which convey the meaningful promises that God has given to us. Unique, one of a kind items are a specialty as well as creating those special gift items from YOUR creative minds as well as incorporate your favorite scriptures.
